From Paris Jewellers Canada, the launch of limited-edition cherry blossom gold earrings in collaboration with RepresentASIAN Project’s founder, Madelyn Chung, means good news for mental health.
Available as of today, in celebration of Asian Heritage Month, all proceeds from the Asian Heritage Cherry Blossom Earrings will be directed toward The Blossom Mental Health Fund, the charitable arm of RepresentASIAN Project. The earrings are made of sterling silver gold plated with cubic zirconia hoops and removable cherry blossom drops. The removable function fosters versatility by allowing them to be worn two different ways; they’re priced at $149.
The blossom is a significant emblem for both Asians and Madelyn’s family heritage: for the Japanese, it symbolizes the coming of spring, hope and renewal, and also the impermanence of life and beauty, serving as a reminder to appreciate the blessing in life, because nothing is certain and change is a necessity. For the Chinese, it is symbolic of feminine power, mystique and beauty.
The Asian Heritage Cherry Blossom Earrings will be available until they sell out, as a charitable effort by both Paris Jewellers Canada and the RepresentASIAN Project. —Vita Daily
