The forecast really went from uncertain to certainly HOT very quickly and on that note, it’s time to lather on the sunscreen. While one should wear sunscreen all year round, there’s just something about the intense sun rays and heat that really emphasises the importance of sunscreen and enough so to follow through with application, making it the time of year when sunscreen is just more on brand.
There are so many benefits paired with regular sunscreen application, but yet it is often overlooked by many – including myself. Personally, I tend to skip the step because I either forget, I don’t want to ruin my makeup and or it just feels like a lot of work rubbing it in and still being left with residue or white cast.
It seems like these concerns may be common because of the ongoing innovation when it comes to the sunscreen category.
