Everyone’s favourite honourable Parisian returns to our screens on August 15th. And with that, ten episodes of adorable and over the top outfits to inspire our fashion wish lists. Similar to Sex and the City and Gossip Girl, that came before it, the fashion of Emily in Paris is a character in its own right. Lily Collins’ eponymous character has an enviable wardrobe. Filled with unique pieces, feminine silhouettes and more colors than Pantone.
In honour of the return of the fashion-forward show this month, here are four looks to shop right now that are totally Emily approved. —Sheila O’Neill
The American in Paris
Emily is not shy about leaning into Parisian stereotypes. We could see her strutting around Champs-Élysées in this pink two-piece tweed set from Flossy by Freddy, the Coco Top and Coco Skirt. Complete the look off with a pink wool beret and pain au chocolat… when in Rome Paris.
Brunch at Café de Flore
It wouldn’t be an afternoon in Paris without people watching from the patio of Café de Flore. Emily is no stranger to color, she would love this feminine Structured Mini Dress from TikTok’s favorite it girl brand, Odd Muse in lime cream.
Party Dress
Each season of Emily in Paris has at least one over-the-top Parisian party, that rivals those of Paris’ original fashion influencer and party girl, Marie Antoinette. The leading lady of the show needs a main character dress. Selkie’s iconic Puff Dress, with billowing puff sleeves and layers of organza is the ultimate party dress. Paired with a pair of shoes that pay homage to the late Queen of France and her love of sweets, Mach & Mach’s Beauty of Antoinette slingback heels resemble a pink frosted cake.
Coffee at the Tuileries
For strolling the Tuileries, a latté from Café Kitsuné in hand, during the colder months, the dreamy Bow Puffer Jacket from Aussie brand My Mum Made It has Emily written all over it. Paired with the brand’s signature Puffer Tote Bag to carry her laptop and a baguette, of course.
