Every brush Mario creates is versatile and can be used to apply multiple products, but how a brush is cut and shaped affects its performance. Densely packed brushes pick up more product and deposit more pigment onto the skin, whereas fluffier, fuller brushes pick up less product and deposit less pigment onto the skin. Bigger brushes work effectively for larger areas of the face, whereas smaller brushes are designed for targeted areas or more precise application. Mario’s brushes elevate anyone’s makeup routine, so whether you’re an expert or novice, the technique is pretty much the same. There’s a misconception that quality brushes are for pro artists, but if you’re a beginner, investing in them will be a game-changer. I’d start with the F4 Brush. It’s a dual-ended complexion brush that’s ideal for foundation, contouring, and liquid bronzer, making it a multi-use, must-have tool. The sloped design is perfect for applying foundation seamlessly, while the smaller end is great for building coverage or more controlled application. As for building a well-rounded makeup kit, the F1 and F2 Brushes are also staples. The F1 Brush handles everything from foundation, blush, and highlighter, while the F2 Brush is perfect for powder, blush, and bronzer application, ensuring a smooth, even finish. These brushes cover the basics, making them key components of any makeup routine.

We then go through multiple rounds of prototypes, with Mario personally testing each version to ensure it meets his standards for quality, performance, and comfort.
