This year, H&M is marking a significant milestone in the fashion world—20 years of their iconic guest designer collaborations. To celebrate, the brand is bringing back a selection of legendary pieces through a special pre-loved collection. Fashion enthusiasts now have the chance to own a piece of history, as H&M re-releases some of the most beloved items from past collaborations.
It all began in 2004 with Karl Lagerfeld, then Chanel’s creative director, as H&M made luxury design accessible to a broader audience. Over the years, the brand has collaborated with an impressive lineup of fashion giants, from Versace to Marni, and Moschino to Stella McCartney. These partnerships revolutionized the concept of high-end meets high street, offering fashion lovers a taste of designer luxury at an affordable price.
Ann-Sofie Johansson, Creative Advisor at H&M, explains, “Our goal was to make quality and creativity available for everyone. These collaborations connect us to original, thoughtful design that resonates with people globally.”
H&M’s latest initiative sees these collections reborn through pre-loved items sourced in partnership with Sellpy and global vintage retailers. The goal? To champion a more sustainable, circular fashion economy. “We’re excited to give these pieces a second life,” says H&M Creative Director Jörgen Andersson. “This collection allows fans to relive iconic fashion moments, while introducing a new generation to these legendary designs.”
The exclusive re-releases will be available through a series of global drops, both in select stores and online, beginning October 24th. From Viktor & Rolf to Giambattista Valli, this collection is a must-see for fashion lovers ready to celebrate 20 years of style.
