The Review
Following Our Place’s newest addition to its product lineup, it was time to put the Large Wonder Oven to the test. The appliance arrives with everything you need to start cooking immediately, such as a large bake tray, air fryer basket, crumb tray, two wire racks, a user guide, a quick start guide, and a recipe guide. It’s also worth noting that it has a 1-year limited warranty, a 100-day trial, and free shipping/returns.
After set-up—which was a breeze—we decided on making chicken wings for dinner. After prepping the chicken with spices and flour, we used the Large Wonder Oven to broil them at 400°F with the air fryer basket in the top position and the bake pan in the bottom position, loosely following this recipe from the brand. We then added 10 mL (2 teaspoons) of water into the water inlet and let the chicken wings cook for a little longer (flipping them in between). Finally, we turned the temperature to 425°F and let the chicken wings cook for a final time of 5 to 10 minutes.
Final verdict? They turned out perfect! They were crispy an golden on the outside, while tender on the inside. Plus, clean up was super easy since the bottom tray catches all of the drippings. Even though we chose to use a previous online recipe for this review, the handy recipe book that comes with the purchase of a Large Wonder Oven features some delicious options as well (hello Saffron Pavola with Berries and Pizza Margherita!).
Overall, the Large Wonder Oven from Our Place is our new go-to kitchen upgrade, offering a sleek design, versatile functionality, and a healthier cooking experience. It effortlessly delivers impressive results with ease and style making it the ultimate addition to your cooking space.
