Trove Is A Treasure Of Wellbeing In Toronto

March 10, 2025

In an era where life moves at an unforgiving pace, intentional wellness spaces are becoming essential sanctuaries for balance and restoration. At trove in Toronto, co-founders Tanya Kololian and Zoë Paliare have created a first of its kind studio that fuses the best elements of traditional wellness spaces into one holistic experience—offering their famed solo-led journeys, where it’s a choose your own itinerary experience. Sauna, salt cave, cold plunge, IV drips, vitamin boosts, red light therapy are all on tap to create your wellness journey. With a robust practitioner offering (shout out to the supreme Monda) including massage, TCM, reiki, facials, hypnotherapy, osteopathy and more, trove offers seamless access to wellbeing in one gorgeously designed space.

Their tailored and modern approach to wellness made them an instant hit with the community

“we created trove because we saw a gap in the market that felt so obvious to us. Retreat centres, spas, medical clinics, and social wellness spaces existed, but no one was offering all of them in one place, says Kololian. “we wanted a space where accessing wellness felt as good as the wellness itself.”

The self-care cultural shift is here to stay with modalities and health practices being interwoven into everyday life. The solo journeys at trove are like mini retreats offering the perfect escape from the city’s relentless pace, allowing individuals to step off the treadmill of urban life and into a curated oasis of wellness. As the world grows louder and more chaotic, spaces dedicated to nervous system regulation are becoming indispensable.”High performers may not realize that a calm nervous system allows for much more effective decision-making, the ability to be empathetic, collaborative, and solutions-oriented,” explains Paliare. “We don’t see supporting your wellbeing as optional—we see it as fundamental.”

The rise of wellness-focused spaces isn’t just a passing trend—it’s a societal shift. “For years, socializing has often been synonymous with going out to eat and drink, with little emphasis on wellbeing or self-care. But as society evolves, people are seeking out more intentional and meaningful ways to connect,”says Paliare.”The sober-curious movement is a testament to this shift—people are looking for healthier alternatives to traditional socializing.

Kololian’s own wellness journey, marked by overcoming panic disorder, depression, and a 130-pound weight loss, has deeply informed trove’s philosophy.”I wanted to share the tools that supported me—naturopathy, contrast therapy, hypnotherapy, coaching—so others could access them in a seamless way.” Likewise, Paliare’s fertility journey has led her to embrace holistic practices such as acupuncture, restorative yoga, and functional nutrition. “Our goal is to support the mind, body, and spirit,”says Kololian. And as we continue evolving, we’re dreaming up new ways to help people thrive. Stay tuned.”

With tailored wellness options and dedicated spaces for balance and restoration, the message is clear—self-care is no longer a luxury but a necessity for modern living. trove is redefining urban wellness, offering a treasure trove of healing experiences for those looking to nourish themselves in a rapidly changing world. —Lauren Walker-Lee
