Let’s face it: we’re more likely to eat well when it’s made easy for us.
Now Financial District worker bees and downtown shoppers have a new fast and fresh choice that’s just a hop, skip and a jump away. Located in Scotia Plaza, Hopscotch serves up breakfast bowls, smoothies, salads and grain bowls (we have a thing for the tangy zip of the Kimchi Kick bowl, topped with sesame-ginger vinaigrette and nori), made with locally sourced ingredients. The space and staff are cheerful, and sustainability is at the core of the resto’s ethos (check out the eco-friendly packaging, for one, plus the business has health-focused programs aimed at giving back to the community).
All this healthy living might even lead to an extra hop in our step. —Karen Kwan
