Art Gallery Challenge: The MashUp Treasure Hunt

The biggest original exhibit the VAG has ever commissioned is now open. With 156 artists and 371 works over all four floors, MashUp is hugely ambitious. While there are some things you have probably seen before (Brian Jungen’s mash up of Air Jordan sneakers and Aboriginal masks, Andy Warhol lithographs of Marilyn Monroe), there are also more experimental DIY-style works, using media such as music and video.
