With the Souk
at Just For Laughs, the festival has brought some seriously good
eats to the party (in addition to the usual giggles).
The Quartier des Spectacles has morphed into a food court populated by
trucks serving up affordable and tasty fare ranging from roasted duck
and fancy grilled cheese to pulled pork tacos and burgers.
Our pick?Nouveau Palais all-new Winneburger,
though its technically a Winnebago, not a truck. We went for the bédaine
de tofu epicée ($5.75), a filling tofu and pineapple burger with a spicy
kick, washed down with lemonademaison($3).
The foodie festival goes on until July 28 and thats no laughing matter.
