Chau Lui, who is the co-founder of CELI alongside her sister Trang Wong, says last year’s sample sale sold out in a day. “My sister and I spent over a year and a half sourcing and designing for CELI. Travelling the world and ultimately curating the most stunning pieces. Some of them did not make the cut into our in-store lineup; not because they weren’t incredible but because we couldn’t fit everything into our collection.”
Trending engagement ring styles Lui loves right now include east-west settings, half bezel setting and bolder bands. She reports elongated stones including cushion cuts and radiant cuts, are still highly sought after, and ovals continue to be a popular choice. “Champagne diamonds are also making a huge statement and you may see some at the CELI sale,” Lui says.
