Hilary Duff’s Sports Illustrated Glow-Up Is Pure Y2K Beauty Nostalgia

Hilary Duff just entered her ultimate glow era.

The former Y2K queen officially landed her first-ever Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover this week—and the beauty look is every bit as luminous, bronzed, and impossibly fresh as you’d hope. Think: soft sculpting, flushed lips, radiant skin, and the kind of “lit-from-within” finish that practically screams summer.

Created by celebrity makeup artist Kelsey Deenihan using a full face of Charlotte Tilbury, the glam leaned heavily into glowing complexion staples like Magic Cream, Hollywood Flawless Filter, Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder, and the ever-iconic Pinkgasm Beauty Light Wand.

But the real beauty-world buzz? Hilary also debuted two major new Charlotte Tilbury launches before they officially hit shelves.

First up: the new Pillow Talk Blush Balm Lip Tint, a glossy balm-meets-lip-stain hybrid designed to create that effortless “just-kissed” flush. Hilary wore the shade 90s Kiss—a fittingly nostalgic nude-pink moment for the millennial beauty icon. The formula combines skincare benefits with buildable colour, reacting to your lips’ natural pH for a customized tint that lasts up to eight hours.

Also making its debut: the Exagger-Eyes Easy Eyeshadow Stick in Cashmere Sculpt, one of Charlotte Tilbury’s newest eye launches arriving May 28. The creamy shadow sticks are designed for quick, smudgy, lifted eye looks with zero fuss—essentially the grown-up answer to the swipe-and-go makeup era we’re all entering.

The rest of the glam stayed soft, polished, and beachy. Airbrush Flawless Foundation and Hollywood Contour Wand sculpted the skin without looking heavy, while Lip Cheat liners in Pillow Talk and Iconic Nude created that perfectly blurred, fuller-looking lip effect.

In other words: Hilary Duff understood the assignment.

And honestly? Between the glowing skin, glossy lips, and soft-focus glam, the entire look feels like a masterclass in modern Y2K beauty—refined, radiant, and just nostalgic enough. —Noa Nichol

This look perfectly captures the Y2K aesthetic I’ve been craving! Hilary Duff’s glow-up is the ultimate inspiration for bringing those nostalgic beauty vibes into 2026.

I usually don’t write reviews, but my experience with Divya Gem Stonex deserves appreciation. I was searching for a statement piece for my new villa bathroom and most options online looked repetitive. Their collection felt unique and premium from the very beginning. While discussing interior concepts with my architect we finalized a Quartz Wash Basin design from their catalog that perfectly matched our luxury theme. The finishing feels rich, maintenance is easy, and the product quality exceeded expectations. Truly a reliable company for elegant and modern stone bathroom solutions.
