Canada is vast, surprising, and full of places many of us have never heard of—let alone visited. This Canada Day, Canadian sleep brand Endy is inviting us to rediscover the country through an unexpected lens: where we sleep.
After delivering mattresses, bedding, and better mornings to more than one million Canadians from coast to coast, Endy is launching a custom GeoGuessr challenge that transforms some of its most remote delivery destinations into a nationwide game of geography, curiosity, and Canadian pride.
Launching June 23, the interactive experience drops players into communities across the country using Google Street View, challenging them to identify locations based on visual clues alone. But this isn’t just another geography quiz. Along the way, players unlock fascinating sleep-related insights about the communities Endy serves—from hidden towns with remarkably loyal mattress owners to regions with surprisingly specific bedding preferences.
Among the discoveries? One small Ontario town boasts a 0 per cent mattress return rate and some of the happiest sleepers in the country. In Newfoundland, one community has embraced Glacier Blue bedding more enthusiastically than anywhere else in Canada. Meanwhile, in Saskatchewan, residents appear to be firmly on Team Plush, purchasing soft mattresses at rates more than eight times higher than firm options.
The result is a playful cross-country journey that feels part road trip, part trivia challenge, and part love letter to the diverse communities that make up Canada.
At a time when many Canadians are looking for meaningful ways to connect with home, the experience offers a reminder that Canada’s character isn’t defined only by its major cities. It’s found in the small towns, remote communities, and unexpected places that help shape the country’s identity—and that Endy has been delivering to for the past decade.
The game also arrives at a moment when GeoGuessr has become a cultural phenomenon, attracting millions of players eager to test their geography skills and virtually explore places they may never visit in person. Endy’s Canadian edition adds a distinctly local twist, celebrating everything from regional habits to hometown quirks through the universal experience of getting a good night’s sleep.
For those feeling competitive, there are prizes up for grabs, including the chance to win an Endy mattress. But the real reward may be discovering just how much there is to learn about the country we call home.
This Canada Day, consider it an invitation to explore Canada—one guess at a time. —Noa Nichol
