If you’ve been looking for an excuse to book dinner at one of Vancouver’s most exciting restaurants, this is it.
Throughout July, SUYO Modern Peruvian is celebrating Peru’s Independence Day (Fiestas Patrias) with a special five-course tasting menu that pays tribute to the country’s vibrant culinary traditions. Created by Chef/Owner Ricardo Valverde, the limited-time experience showcases beloved Peruvian classics through SUYO’s refined, contemporary approach.
The menu features standout dishes including Ceviche Clásico, Tuna Causa, Octopus Anticuchero, Arroz con Pato, and finishes on a sweet note with a decadent Lúcuma Tres Leches. Guests can also elevate the experience with optional cocktail, wine, or spirit-free beverage pairings.
Available throughout July for $119 per person, the tasting menu is a delicious way to celebrate Peru’s rich culinary heritage—and another reason to visit the MICHELIN Guide-recommended Mount Pleasant favourite. —Noa Nichol
