The FIFA World Cup Final Is Getting A Halftime Show—And The Lineup Is Absolutely Wild

The biggest sporting event on the planet is about to get even bigger.

For the first time ever, the FIFA World Cup™ Final will feature a live halftime show—and if the star-studded lineup is any indication, it’s set to be one of the most unforgettable musical moments of the year.

Taking the stage on Sunday, July 19, during the FIFA World Cup 2026™ Final at New York New Jersey Stadium, the 11-minute spectacle will feature performances by Justin Bieber, Madonna, Shakira, Burna Boy and BTS. But that’s just the beginning.

Audiences can also expect appearances from acclaimed conductor Gustavo Dudamel, who will lead a historic joint performance by the New York Philharmonic and the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela—a moving tribute to Venezuela following the country’s recent earthquakes. The celebration continues with the PS22 Chorus featuring Coldplay, Uganda’s Ghetto Kids, singer Emmanuel Kelly, and even beloved Sesame Street favourites Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy.

Beyond the entertainment, the halftime show also supports an important cause. Produced by Global Citizen in partnership with Live Nation and Done + Dusted, the event will shine a spotlight on the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which aims to raise US$100 million to expand access to quality education and football opportunities for children around the world. So far, more than US$50 million has already been raised.
