Looking for a dose of culture this fall? Mark your calendar for the return of Arts Umbrella’s Splash 2026 Art Collection Exhibition, taking over downtown Vancouver’s Pendulum Gallery from September 9 to October 2.

Free and open to the public, the annual exhibition offers a rare opportunity to experience nearly 100 one-of-a-kind works by acclaimed and emerging Canadian and international artists before they head to the 44th annual Splash Art Auction on October 4—one of the largest art auctions in Canada.

Whether you’re an avid collector, an art lover or simply looking for an inspiring afternoon downtown, the exhibition invites visitors to discover exceptional contemporary artwork, learn about the artists behind each piece and even place bids online ahead of the live auction.

Even better? Every purchase helps support Arts Umbrella, with proceeds funding arts education, scholarships and free programming for young people across Metro Vancouver. Today, nearly 75 per cent of Arts Umbrella students participate at no cost, making Splash as meaningful as it is beautiful.

The Splash 2026 Art Collection Exhibition runs September 9 to October 2 at the Pendulum Gallery (885 West Georgia St.) and is free to attend. It’s one of those can’t-miss Vancouver cultural events that deserves a spot on your fall calendar. —Noa Nichol
