We love sushi as much as the next gal, but we draw the line at sketchy
grab-and-go joints.
But when we stepped into Michi
Sushi (which means street sushi) and saw the lime green floor,
mirrored wall and spotless glass case full of fresh and healthy hand
rolls, we knew we found our new lunch spot.
With no set menu, the offerings are plentyand made with 50 per cent
brown rice. Find faves like the California roll ($2.50) and tasty
creations like the prawn and lemon mayo roll ($3), plus sashimi salad
with soy dressing ($7) all created by a former chef from West.
In keeping with the minimalist design, the snack-sized rolls are
individually wrapped in paper (forsaking wasteful plastic and throw-away
chopsticks) and the squeezable, fish-shaped soya sauce packets are
adorable and spill proof.
So when your boss asks you to do a lunch run for the entire office? Just
go with the roll.
