A little bit of Italy and California together? We’re down for that.
Especially after dining at Cresta, a new sunshine-filled, upscale-casual restaurant located beside St. Lawrence Market. Owned by Thomas George Estates, Cresta is named after one of Cali’s iconic vineyards and boasts, naturally, a wine list focusing on the state’s wines, to pair with a creative Italian menu. Overwhelmed by everything on the menu sounding incredible, we went with the recommended crispy brussels sprouts (roasted to perfection), and the arrabiata pizza. We appreciated the pizza’s oven-dried tomatoes toning down the spiciness of the ‘nduja (although we had a lovely Chardonnay to help with that, as well).
Salute! Or should that be cheers? Either way, there’s no wrong way to enjoy here..
