Change Has Come to Vitamin Daily

August 29, 2016

Dear tipsters and tastemakers,

Like a starlet in the off season, we’ve slipped away this summer to have a little bit of work done. And, as our closest friends and collaborators in the industry, we want you to know the changes we’ve made to your guide to the good life.

A new look

Our writers and editors will continue to report on the best in lifestyle and luxury news from across the country, and our website now better reflects that focus. Look for a luxurious new colour palette, a pared down new layout, and a fresh take on your favourite daily doses.

A new name

We’re dropping the ‘min and taking it to the max. Vitamin Daily has merged names with its gorgeous print publication, VITA, to offer one seamless experience across all formats. Expect the same breaking lifestyle news under the VITA brand, and watch for the city hashtags (#VITAvancouver, #VITAtoronto, etc.) to follow along online.

A very, very VIP

Our VIP Room is getting a facelift as well! One of the most exciting changes will be our new VIP Room community. Starting in September, VIP Room members will receive monthly access to sample products from our elite beauty and lifestyle partners, to try out at home and review. Contact us now to be the next to share your client’s newest products with our most engaged readers and gain their feedback.

VITA Society

Also coming in September are the VITA Society Pages—a curated list of brands and businesses that we align with and endorse. The Society, through its members-only listing pages and supporting editorial, will function as a comprehensive resource for readers and visitors looking for the best shopping, dining and lifestyle experiences that our cities have to offer.

Other changes:

–Increased focus on collaborative events and videos. Got a fun idea? Our marketing team knows exactly how get your message out to our niche audience

–The launch of curated editorial and advertising features like Grape Minds (July) and Winter Wellness (this Fall).

–An increase in doses in each newsletter from each city. Feel free to pitch our editors in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto and Montreal with your events and releases

–A new national wine editor: Laura Starr of Chambar

–A new (old) VITA Montreal editor: Christine Laroche returns to the position she held from 2012-2014

–A new dedicated Vancouver food writer: industry veteran Anya Levykh

There’s more to come in the next few weeks, and your feedback is always welcome, so let us know what you want to see in YOUR guide to the good life by emailing me at kelsey@vitamindaily.com

And of course, feel free to help us spread the word about our brand new digs! —Kelsey Klassen, Editor-in-Chief
