The 13th edition of the Fashion
& Design Festival kicks off today and thanks to Honorary
Chairman Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, the event has been injected with
an extra dose of fashion cred.
The French designer is lending his touch to the event with an exhibition
at Place Ville Marie (until Sunday), an artistic performance called
Fantômes (9 p.m.) and urban art display (tomorrow, 11:30 a.m.).
But thats not to say that local labels arent au rendez-vous: The
lineup includes a Bodybag by Jude retrospective, highlights from the
FW13 edition of Montreal Fashion Week highlights, a celebration of
Jacobs 35th anniversary and a whole lot more.
