We’re definitely not going to miss our chance to indulge in 150 years of Canadian food and wine history at a unique pop-up "edible museum" happening tomorrow night—and neither should you!
The Edible Museum of Canadian Food & Wine will be open to the public at The Permanent, 330 East Pender Street, for one night only: February 9, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Broken up into natural-history-museum-like sections, the attraction will take visitors on a culinary adventure with an aim to illustrate iconic moments in Canadian food- and wine-making. Sip on a glass of sparkling while you learn about our country’s most awarded wineries through interactive displays and immerse yourself in the surprising origins of quintessentially Canadian foods like poutine and the McIntosh apple. Got burning questions? Experts will be on hand throughout the two-storey exhibit to answer them.
