New Eats: Buck15 Espresso Bar

We’re smitten.

Smitten with Buck15 Espresso Bar’s clean lines, bright natural light and fresh botany. Smitten with Roy, the affable Jamaican-born owner who greeted us warmly with a cold brew flavoured with notes of citrus, cocoa and undecipherable tangs of vigour. And very smitten with the St. Henri cafe’s careful toast-pairing suggestions, with bread supplied by two local bakeries, Guillaume and Hof Kelsten. Buck15 couples each thick-sliced slab with homemade strawberry and peach jams, rich Nutella, spreadable cream cheese or aromatic cinnamon, all thoughtfully sprinkled with sugar.
