The annual festival that is Sled Island is back and better than ever.
Last year, the annual festival was cut short by the flooding that ravaged many of inner-city venues, but organizers and supporters rallied to create another amazing lineup this year. More than 250 bands, plus films, art and comedy will be showcased at various venues across Calgary, including parking lots, bars, clubs and even a church. We love that these Indie and alternative acts draw such big crowds and we can’t wait to see some Canadian talent take the stage (read: Neko Case and Joel Plaskett Emergency).
Welcome back. —Sara Samson
