No need to jet to New York to take in the latest performance from the Met
Starting in October youll be able to enjoy Met performances broadcast
live in HD at movie theatres across Canada.
The
Met started the live screenings to give opera lovers the chance to
take in more shows and give opera virgins a familiar place to experience
it. At intermission you will get a behind-the-scenes look with live
interviews with the singers, designer and director.
The Met: Live in HD 2013-2014 season will feature 10 performances,
broadcast on Saturdays, starting with Tchaikovskys Eugene Onegin on
October 5.
