With a surname like Sanguedolce (sweet blood), what else can you do but
make cakes?

After stints in marketing and journalism, Lisa Sanguedolce has decided
to share her passion for butter-cream, marzipan and ganache with the
sweet loving people of Toronto.

Sugar and spice and all things nice, pretty much sums up her new Dundas
West cake boutique
. Pick from mini macarons, gooey butter tarts and
cupcakes that are almost too pretty to eat.

And if eating cake isnt enough, why not make one at one? On-site
classes
include truffle-making and Paris-style macarons.

Le Dolci even offers classes for the little ones. Its never too early to
master corneille lace. Athena Tsavliris
