Italian for Gluten-free

July 19, 2013

It’s pizza and pasta lovers that struggle the most going gluten free.
What, no more late night pit stops to Terroni?

Thankfully, you can find a satisfying corn version of Terroni’s
arcobaleno and arrabiatta pastas at Price Street. It’s slightly less al
dente, but to our wheat deprived taste buds, this version is pretty damn
delicious. Start with a funghi assoluti, senze bread crumbs.

At the Rubino brothers’ Strada 241 all pastas can be served with gluten
free (corn based) noodles and pizza crusts are a mix of tapioca and
chickpea flour. Load up your grilled gluten free bread with olive oil
and sopressata.

Buon appetito! Athena Tsavliris
