With offices out in Richmond now (hello, Richmond News readers!) we know exactly where our next staff lunch will be.
Pepper Lunch—a DIY fast-service concept—has opened its first Canadian resto on No. 3 Road, where you mix and cook your own meal, fast (we barely sat down before our sizzling Pepper Beef lunch was brought to our table), using only fine fresh ingredients (think certified Angus beef plus local produce delivered daily) for a super-reasonable price. It was fun watching our steaming meals come out of the kitchen ready for us to mix our own meat to our heart’s content. The best part? Thanks to some serious skillet innovation, our meal stayed piping hot for more than 20 minutes (a godsend for us slow eaters).
