One of the hardest parts of furniture shopping is picturing how things
will mesh when we take it home.

But Ikea’s
new 3D app means no more trekking to the store with a tape measures
while trying to guess how the Karlstad couch will fit in the living room.

With a bit of magic (we think), you can scan a piece of furniture from
the catalogue and the app will place it (virtually) right into your
home. It doesnt work on all items but most large pieces are 3D enabled.

Next season can we virtually import the soft serve ice cream, too?Sara
