Save money and get in touch with nature by
camping at Tucker
Park. Situated next to Hood River (the actual river,) this
campground has free, hot showers to take the roughness out of roughing
it. $20 a night, www.orparks.org
do
A three-hour beginner windsurfing lesson offered
by Big Windsincluding
a wetsuit rental and plenty of praisegot us tacking back and forth like

drink
Sniff, sip and spit (optional) through the

eat
After all that wind and wine, curl up under the
stars at the Skylight
Theatre and Pub with a slice of pizza, a bottle of locally-brewed
ale and watch Will Smith blow things up. www.skylighttheatre.com
