A stroll around Kits Beach left you famished and that breeze off the
Burrard Inlet has you chilled? Get cozy in Corduroy.
Just a few blocks up from the waters edge, this neighbourhood joint has
the kind of laidback charm youd expect to stumble upon on Main Street,
with its kitschy frames that cover the walls and cedar-shingled bar. We
were tantalized by its fresh take on traditional plates, like whole
wheat pizza topped with roasted mushroom, caramelized pear, gorgonzola,
pine nuts and a little crème fraîche ($14), and white cheddar and
Guinness jus poutine with truffle oil ($11).
And there’s other cords tooevery Tuesday they showcase live music by a
local talent.
