No Fresh Produce? No Problem! (Win! A Panasonic 3 in 1 Steam Oven)

April 9, 2018

As much as we wish otherwise, winter remains and certain food groups (we’re looking at you, fresh veggies and fruit) can be hard to come by. Luckily, a kitchen appliance like the powerful Panasonic 3 in 1 Steam Oven, with powerful steam, grill and microwave functionality, makes cooking three square meals a day using jarred, canned and frozen foods a cinch.

For breakfast, whipping up a roasted red pepper and mushroom bruschetta is as easy as layering peppers from a two-ounce jar with mushrooms on slices of Turkish bread, sprinkling firm goat cheese on top and cooking in the Panasonic 3 in 1 Steam Oven for about 15 minutes. A lunchtime favourite and comfort-food dish of choice on a chilly day is a bowl of piping hot potato and corn soup: bacon, onion, potatoes, chicken stock and canned creamed corn made to perfection in our Panasonic 3 in 1 Steam Oven for 30 minutes or so does it. As for dinner, grilling a platter of Hawaiian pork spare ribs using a can of crushed pineapple, brown sugar, soy sauce and ginger is easy (and tasty) as 1-2-3.

Fresh may be best, but with the Panasonic 3 in 1 Steam Oven by our sides, the alternatives, it turns out, are pretty good, too. —Noa Nichol
