stay. Overlooking Boston’s historic Public Garden and just a short walk to the best shops and dining, the Four Seasons is the ultimate destination to unpack your bags and get comfortable. Think oversized plush suites, a fully-equipped gym and spa with steam, pool and sauna, not to mention their attention-to-your-every-detail service. Craving a protein-rich smoothie with your room service? You got it. And it doesn’t stop there. We’re referring to the hotel’s renowned Bristol Bar and Restaurant, featuring Boston’s best burger and fresh local seafood, craft beers and most impressive people watching entertainment. So good is this hotel, you may never leave the building—and we wouldn’t blame you one bit.

savour. Boston may be small in city-size, but it’s overflowing with delicious food. For gourmet coffees, exquisite baked pastries, tartines, kale salad bowls and sandwiches, Tatte is worth every carb-loading bite. For more (and we mean more) options, head over to Eataly in the Prudential Center for its array of food bars and stations featuring paninis, oysters, wine and bubblies, pastas and gelato while browsing aisles of Eataly’s finest Italian foods, home and kitchen items. When evening calls, step inside Eastern Standard for its lively, French-brasserie feel—but stay happy, thanks to its superb steak frites (frites!). When the gluttony takes over, and you’re craving something clean, green and delish, you’ll want to keep Juice Press in your browsing history, along with any of the Dig Inn locations.

shop. From COS to Celine, Intermix to Rag and Bone, and with a Lily Pulitzer in-between, Newbury Street is where you’ll find shoppers of all kinds, walking up and down this historic, quaint street. With something for every taste and budget, it’s worth an afternoon at least—particularly on a sunny day. If keeping it indoors is more your thing, the Prudential Center has you covered. Here, you’ll find everything from Sephora to Saks, Madewell to Warby Parker. For big-brand bargains, head over to Nordstrom Rack or Lord & Taylor for its mix of high-low fash-ions, impressive shoe department and famous cashmere.

run. If completing a marathon is on your bucket list, we have three words: just do it! Regardless of your age or fitness level, it takes about 12 weeks of training. And to run Boston, one must qualify—hence why it’s the marathons of marathons. But take our word, it’s worth every hard-hitting mile to the beautiful finish! NO city comes out to cheer you on like Boston. It’s roll-ing hills, it’s Heart-break Hill but it’s also a street party, a coming together of athletes from around the world. It’s by far, the best Monday you’ll ever experience—with a medal of bragging rights for life.
