Vancouver has been experiencing torrential rain the last few days—the kind where new lakes form, cars gently float away, umbrellas turn inside out, mists come in and chalk pavement paintings transform to rainbow puddles. In short, things have all gone a bit Mary Poppins.
So it seems like magic, or at least, synchronicity, that in perfect time for the holiday season, we’ve discovered Hunter’s practically-perfect-in-every-way collab with Disney to mark the launch of Mary Poppins Returns next week. The 25-strong collection includes bags, boots and brollies for children and women, all with Poppins-inspired designs. Most supercalifragilistic are the bubble umbrella and carpet-bag-inspired rubberized leather holdall, both decorated with Mary silhouettes. And then there are the wellie boots, both ankle and full length, perfect for jumping into those rainbow puddles and hoping for an adventure—after all, anything can happen, if you let it.
