We could eat authentic Mexican street food all day, every day.
Not tacos dressed up with fancy ingredients, but traditional dishes such as chicken enchiladas and tostadas de tinga, and now we have Reforma to satisfy those cravings. In Baldwin Village, this casual two-storey resto delivers on authenticity with a handful of dishes that go against the rules (such as combining shrimp with cheese in the tacos gobernador) along with satisfying cocktails and cervezas, including classic margaritas with just the right level of tartness. Having recently added brunch on the weekends, we look forward to trying their maple bacon, caliente eggs and kale salad.
Because Mexican is always a good idea, any time of day. —Karen Kwan
