As Vancouver’s celebrated Spot Prawn season returns, The Lobby Lounge and RawBar at the Fairmont Pacific Rim has taken a twist on its popular long board sushi experience and introduced a limited-edition spot prawn long board lunch that we’re definitely not missing!
This special culinary experience is available Saturdays and Sundays for groups of two or more (reservations are required) and highlights a variety of spot prawn specialties—from an appy of spot prawn miso soup and West Coast oysters to poached spot prawns, nigiri, aburi rolls, oshizushi, ceviche and poké—served on a sustainably crafted driftwood long board by B.C.’s own Raven Timberworks. Plus, there’s more spot prawn goodness upstairs at Botanist, incorporated into the restaurant’s We’ll Take it From Here menu (think hand-cut chitarra pasta with spot prawn glaze, spring sprouts and butter-poached spot prawns).
