As the temperatures start to drop, one thing is becoming abundantly clear—as much as we love certain aspects of a good, cold, western Canadian winter, there’s no way we’re going to be able to stand staying put till spring!

So, whether you’re looking to catch some waves in Costa Rica or sip piña coladas poolside in Punta Cana, the fact that you can now travel direct with Air Transat from Vancouver means more fun in the sun and less time in an airport—and that’s great thing. Plus, Air Transat’s in-flight experience is second-to-none (no wonder the carrier’s taken the title of World’s Best Leisure Airline at the Skytrax World Airline Awards for the second year running). And let’s not forget about our fave European sun destinations: Faro and Lisbon in Portugal and Madrid, Barcelona and Malaga in Spain will be readily accessible via Montreal and Toronto. Flying through Toronto or Montreal, passengers will also be able to holiday in London, Glasgow and Manchester in the United Kingdom, as well as Paris, France.
