She’s got millions of followers on Instagram and, as it turns out, some strong opinions when it comes to fall style. We caught up with influencer Aimee Song at a hosted-by-Coveteur event at Vancouver’s Holt Renfrew and, once we got over gawking at her chic brown leather pants and gorgeous statement bag, learned this about what’s en trend this season. —Vita Daily
big blazers. Gonna buy into the suit jacket trend? Aimee says her game plan when it comes to choosing a fall blazer this time around is to size up. Go big or go home!
usual neutrals. No surprise here. Neutrals (browns, tans, beiges) are in … again.
animal print. We know it’s in style (just wait for the next issue of VITA) but, says Aimee, try adding new wild patterns to your leopard repertoire—like a pair of snakeskin boots (go square toed, and you’ll be killing two trends in one).
pouch bag. A must have. Nuff said.
flushed cheeks. Cream blushers look good, and are easy to apply, too. Just dip your fingers in, dab onto cheeks and voila.
luxe denim. Invest in one high-end jean piece this season. You won’t regret it.
designers to watch. According to Aimee, Khaite, Nanushka (vegan leather), Totême (for that luxe denim, no less) are fashion makers who should all be on your autumn radar.
