Last week, more than 300 Vancouverites gathered at the Yaletown Roundhouse for Talent Lab’s inaugural (un)conference to learn about the human side of business.
They heard from global activists, change makers and transformational leaders including Joe Granato, chief supply chain officer at Mountain Equipment Co-op, and Jenna Hills, the director of people and brand at the Baptiste Institute. The evening was MCd by Arc’teryx’ Laura Appleton. (The full speaker roster is available here). Guests enjoyed charcuterie from Mercuterie and Urban Fare as well as live oyster shucking from Scotty Bordignon "Big Shucker". Processo, a signature of all Talent Lab events was also provided.
Alisha Adams and Tess Sloane founded Talent Lab in 2015 in Vancouver. As human resources professionals, they saw a huge need to create a resource for this community to seek out progressive, inspirational and useful information to spread wisdom and education within the industry. We can’t wait for more exciting events in the near future! —Vita Daily
