One of our fave Vancouver hotels, the Fairmont Pacific Rim, has launched an appreciation program for our city’s health-care community, with giovane café (home of the Jillian-Harris-made-famous Banana Coconut Latte) offering free hot and specialty coffee beverages for hospital staff, medical workers, first responders and the like through May 31st, 2020.
Patrons simply show their staff ID and giovane’s baristas will whip up a fresh cup of joe on the house for take-out. Also, check out the café + eatery’s new take-out menu via Ritual, featuring daily chef’s pizzas and salads. This limited-edition menu, with a selection of wine and beer available to purchase with a meal, will launch the Feed It Forward program where, for every dish ordered, one will be donated to workers on the front line during these challenging times.
