Last Supper: Holy Crab to Close

May 12, 2020

How happy we were, back in 2017, to cover the opening of a new Louisiana-inspired seafood-boil hot spot in Vancouver’s West End, The Holy Crab?

Now, we watch another beloved local eatery shutter due to the impact of COVID-19. Forced to close its doors for good, the restaurant will be taking its final online orders for curbside pickup this week on May 13th, 15th and 16th from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. For its final days of service, The Holy Crab will be offering its 20 per cent off all seafood items, including lobster, crab, shrimp and crawfish; the takeout menu also includes add-ons and sides like sweet corn, Cajun fries, deep-fried frog legs and sausages and even seafood-boil shelling tools.

Want to enjoy a taste of The Holy Crab at home, even after the physical restaurant has closed? Grab a container of chef-made sauce in three southern-inspired flavours, mild or spicy Cajun or garlic pepper. —Vita Daily
