Go See The Sunflowers Put On A Show

August 10, 2020

The Chilliwack Sunflower Experience, in B.C.’s beautiful Fraser Valley, is on August 12th through Labour Day (September 7th), with measures in place to keep us all safe!

The fields will be alive with sunflowers, dahlias, and gladiolas at 41310 Yale Road in Chilliwack, providing the perfect spot for photo opps. This year, in order to ensure everyone’s health and safety, the usual components of the festival have been reimagined. Changes include:

  • tickets sold online only, per one-hour block;
  • the fields’ capacity is limited to 25 per cent;
  • directional pathways that are three-to-five-metres wide;
  • hand-sanitizing stations and safety notices placed where needed;
  • staff will be sanitizing high-touch areas throughout the day;
  • limited hands-on photo-opp props; and
  • no playground, picnic tables or lawn games this year.

You definitely won’t want to miss these blooms! —Vita Daily
