@carmitive The digital editor of Harper’s Bazaar Germany, Carmen Jenny is a sustainability enthusiast passionate about using her platform to educate her audience about how to be more conscious consumers. Her Instagram feed features dreamy #ootds as well as helpful hints like what deadstock fabric is, how to avoid greenwashing, and more.

Our personal favourite tip: swap out giftwrap paper for newspaper or magazines … perhaps an extra copy of VITA’s print issue?

Yes!! So much waste in the world. Our son for his sons 4th birthday in July did a total makeover on a a tricycle and trailer from the 70’s he purchased for $40. He spent countless hours and searched for small parts and the perfect John Deer colours. The transformation was no only amazing but so rewarding for both of them! Win win.
