We love a good pop-up shopping experience, and Holt Renfrew Vancouver is doubling our pleasure this month.
On the Skybridge, catch the Prada Re-Nylon pop-up, now till November 2nd, 2020, featuring the new Prada Re-Nylon collection—a groundbreaking evolution of the brand’s most recognizable signifier, nylon, which is an emblem of Prada’s distinct viewpoint on modern luxury. Look for bucket hats and must-have bags, all made from a regenerated nylon created through the recycling and purification of plastic collected from oceans, fishing nets, landfills and textile-fibre waste globally. Also unique to this temp space: short movies produced by National Geographic, displayed in sync on scenographic multiscreen large-scale arches.
On the main level, Bottega Veneta has popped up (until October 24th, 2020) to showcase an extensive range of pieces for women, including key accessories and leather goods. Adopting visionary elements from its luxurious stores, the space continues the brand’s journey via concrete walls featuring a sketched design recalling the house’s emblematic Intrecciato and glossy green floors.
Best of all, to celebrate the launch, the Chain Pouch will be exclusively available in Porridge at the Vancouver pop-up, sitting alongside a selection of pieces from the Fall 2020 collection for women, from handbags and small leather goods, to jewelry and shoes.
Talk about a powerhouse pop-up pair! —Noa Nichol
