Why choose between skinny jeans or leggings when you can have the best of both worlds with Mother’s Vamp faux leather leggings ($300 at Holt Renfrew). High-waisted, ankle slits and pockets? We’re choosing this pair that checks all the boxes.

It’s not surprising that cult-favourite shapewear brand, Spanx, has hit another home run with their faux leather leggings ($128 at Nordstrom). The wide waistband and gentle compression material make these worthy of repeat-wearing.

Some of us like a fit that’s a little looser, and that’s where these cropped, cool-girl faux leather pants by Noisy May come in ($59 at Simons). These vegan leather leggings level up any look, whether you’re going glam or keeping things casual.

Need a break from black? A fan-favourite year after year, the Wilfred Free Daria Ankle Pant ($138 at Aritzia) in vegan leather looks fresh for the season in Patina Brown—the perfect caramel colour to compliment everything in your closet.

OK, technically not leggings, but we couldn’t resist including the Midnight Mood Romper in Un-Real Leather ($145 at Smash + Tess). Hot off the press, everyone’s favourite loungewear brand is shaking things up with their just-dropped, chic new style with the perfect amount of slouch and plenty of edgy attitude.

Pleather leggings ($95) from Edmonton label Emmydeveaux use a stretch fabric and liner to yield the perfect fit, from XS to XL. Like them looser?  The brand’s pleather joggers ($195) are a great alternative, with a drawstring waist.

The Quarterly is a new female-owned, sustainable, high-fashion activewear company that connects consumers with trendy, functional looks at the press of a button. Our fave piece from the site’s range? The Radiance Legging by Daub & Design ($124) is high-gloss liquid pant great for both studio and everyday style that’s got a high waist and, best, is made in Vancouver, B.C.
