Happily, the brilliant founders of Kooshoo have created pants (from $39, for children age one month to five years) that fit three times longer than most. Made from soft organic cotton, these drop-crotch beauties have wide cuffs and waistbands that expand when needed. And the company keeps its environmental footprint impressively small: garments are hand-dyed in a solar-powered dye house, cut and sewn within a 20-mile radius and shipped using 100 per cent biodegradable envelopes.
