After the successful launch of their first collab, Canadian creator Sasha Exeter and designer Ela Aldorsson have joined forces again to co-design a second limited-edition handbag capsule, the 2.0. The new collection meets the same function and fashion theme at its core, just as the previous design that sold out in minutes.
Sasha x ela 2.0 will bring back the much-loved black croc Belt Bag and introduce three new pieces that maintain the duo’s top three design standards: seasonless, functional and sophisticated. Focused on a neutral, timeless colour palette, as well as key shapes that will be relevant to a busy life, the range features vegan materials and 100 per cent recycled plastic bottle lining, plus all the packaging for the collaboration is biodegradable.
Speaking of which, continuing the mission to support talent in the BIPOC community, Sasha and Ela trusted the creative process to Canadian artist Trisha Abe to design the packaging, with a showstopping result. She placed her bold, defined lines and female portraiture nuances into the artwork for both the dust bag and the thank you note.
