If it werent for so many events happening in the city, wed be heading
off-island to enjoy our weekend. Here are three superb reasons to stay
put.
Home inspiration
Were craving a springtime spruce-up for our home
and getting insider insight from top designers on Saturday, May 26th at
the Montreal
International Design show ($20 per adult).
Museum crawl
One day, 29 museums, zero dollars. Sunday, May
27th is Montreal
Museums Day and while were on the fence about whether well choose
one of six circuits (complete with transportation) or freestyle
according to our fancy, we know well discover some new gems along the
way.
Get your garden on
For urban gardening tips and tricks (ie.
can I actually grow tomatoes on my postage stamp sized patio?), were
heading to the 15th Great GardeningWeekend($15 per adult) at the Montreal
Botanical Garden where 100 exhibitors will be on hand to answer our
questions and show off their wares. Christine Laroche
