We waited a long time here in B.C. Sure, we were happy for our Edmonton, Laval and Toronto pals who have been shopping at the home-décor boutique of one of our favourite Euro-brands for some time now—but seriously? Talk about FOMO.
At long last, the The Amazing Brentwood in Burnaby has opened a gorgeous new, street-level H&M Home and we are in our new happy place. The fourth boutique in Canada, with the others located at West Edmonton Mall, CF Laval and Eaton Centre, is a 30,000-square-foot space of home accessories, décor and lifestyle items. Presently the store is washed in a palette of ecru, biscuit, sand-washed blues and greens with its shelves and tables of items for every room of your home space. Think tableware and glasses for the kitchen. Vases, picture frames and throw cushions for the living room. Candles, washed linen sheets and duvet covers for the bedroom. Seagrass baskets and organic cotton towels for the bathroom.
The vibe is natural, earthy-chic and sophisticated with plenty of sustainably made products, and every item carefully designed with style being first and foremost. Welcome home! —Catherine Dunwoody
