Food trends are breaking records on TikTok and it’s becoming the go-to platform for Canadians to learn new recipes (us included). Among these trending tasties, #PastaChips are one of the most-loved foods grabbing the attention of users, with more than 776 million views on TikTok worldwide. Now, TikTok is bringing this trend to life by partnering with local food trucks across Canada this weekend and having their chefs create their own unique spin on the recipe, sure to make everyone drool!
For free, Torontonians will get to try chef Aleem’s version of the dish with THG’s Hot Chicken‘s special blue cheese mayo, Vancouverites will get to try the dish with Shameless Buns‘ famous sinigang seasoning, Montreal-based Kitchen 73 will have you dipping them in a delicious yogurt sauce with hints of lemon and cucumber, and Calgarians (next weekend, August 19 to 21) will get to try BearBalls YYC‘s truly Canadian salt and pepper or ketchup flavours.
