Shop This City is a female-founded, Vancouver-based technology company that puts community first. It’s new app of the same name helps you locate the things you love nearby, and makes it easier to support local businesses in your neighbourhoods and your community. The purpose of the STC app is to make local shopping easier and more convenient. Plus, it works to support local businesses and drive customers to a brick-and-mortar store or website. The STC app is launching to shoppers in Vancouver October 1 and the rollout will follow to other major cities in Canada.
So far the app has secured some amazing Vancouver partners in the BETA testing round including BOBOLI, Misch, Rebecca Bree, India Rose Cosmeticary and fig! STC also aids in promoting local Online Only retailer partners by hosting pop-ups at Vancouver’s Superette Studio, a shared creative studio. The first will be a collaboration of three Vancouver based online-only small businesses: Collective Will Secondhand & Vintage, R Denim Secondhand & Vintage and Shop Kalosophie.
